St. James the Less Parish Athletic Association

The students at St. James do have busy schedules but they always find time to wear their team colors whether it’s basketball, soccer, track, football, baseball, volleyball, or softball season. No matter what the sport, students are taught the fundamentals. As you can see our students get time to have a life and still have fun playing their favorite sports.

The Parish Athletic Association provides the opportunity for students in grades four through eight to participate in a variety of Diocesan Intramural sports, including cheerleading.

Part of the philosophy of St. James the Less Catholic School is to strive for academic excellence. We also feel that a good sports program is a vital asset in the total development of each student. We believe that a student should play sports if he/she wishes regardless of his/her academic ability, as long as the student works to his/her potential (effort) and behavior (conduct) of the student is that which is expected of a student attending a Catholic School.
